on my mind

• i don't blog about my family. about my kids. i partially think that's because i don't want them (their identity) on the internet. but this is my blog. and they are apart of me. a large part of me. i need to work on this.
• i had such an appreciation for the arts. specifically the performing arts. i want to share that here, more often. 
• since my dad passed, my mom has become one of my closest friends. i honestly have a lot of fun with her, and i love doing things with her. i love you mama.
• i miss scrapbooking. i think i should try and make some time for that real soon. maybe even attend a crop at a local scrapbooking store.
• my mother's day wish list is so long. i wouldn't dare show it, only because there really isn't anything i need, just want. and i'm really trying to weed out the 'want' purchases.
• speaking of 'want' and 'purchases'... i really want to go shopping with my daughter at the mall. girl days are so much fun, i remember how special they were to me and my mom when i was younger... they still are (we shop quite a bit together). it's been a while, but i'd love to take her out for a day and buy some cute clothes for her. even though she totally trending these days. hehe
• my little boy is turning 11 in a few days... i don't know how to feel about it. he is still my little boy, just with a big kid wish list (like airsoft guns. lol)
• the house seriously needs some spring cleaning. anyone wanna volunteer? hehe
