the explanation...

so... i know its a terrible picture (haven't really learned how to photograph xrays yet) but it is indeed an xray of my back... my very crooked back.
This is actually an old xray, like 3 years old. I can only imagine what it looks like now. Ugh.
As some of you know, I've been having problems with my back/neck recently. And... as some of you know, I'm not the first person to run to a doctors office for help and I usually refuse medication of any kind. But what I am quickly realizing is that this is not an issue that will just go away. In fact, this issue will not get better, more than likely it will get worse. And YES... I will confirm that what you see is Scoliosis (of the lumbar spine convexity and apex at L2, and L5-S1 facet sclerosis bilaterally left greater than right).
I guess by 'putting it out there' this means I am ready to hold myself accountable for what I need to do, treatment I need to look into. As a parent, but more-so as a mother we tend to put ourselves (even our health) last, and I am certainly guilty. The past month of living with this pain has really made me realize that something needs to be done.
First step: call a doctor. Gonna look for one now.
Thanks for listening, and thanks for your support.

Excuse Me... I Think You Have My Stapler

Seriously... I don't understand it, but then again I do. I'm sitting here in my office, we have 6 staplers, all different styles and sizes. For whatever reason, I have become personally attached to MY stapler.

I've had it as long as I've been here (10 years) and for whatever reason it is totally apart of my every day. I am super protective of it, if it's missing... heads are rolling. hehe I swear, it really is the strangest of things... I suppose its a relationship, lol. Here are some 'stapler eye candy' for the office geek in you!
